Just a tiny notch up on Fool's Gold cause at least in this movie I got to check out multiple hot actresses and in the other only Kate Hudson. Kate didn't even have any underwear scenes like Garner had in VD...
But as far as plot goes- You are so right. You really put my annoyance at ease by describing how bad it really was-
I saw it VD weekend too... Ugh-

In my opinion the scene where bambi´s mom is killed by a hunter is really short and you cant see how it happens, but in The Lion King you can see the entire scene when Mufasa dies, so I think that makes the difference. Also I beleive that for men the father-son movie theme is more moving than the mother-son, well, that´s just my opinion.

Great review, thanks for the heads up Goldie. I actually tend to blame Love Actually, as opposed to Crash, for starting this "intertwining story" garbage and making life miserable for all males in a relationship.

My mistake....they actually mentioned Scoffields not Bisleys.
They WERE a pair of 'Schoffields'. Oh well.

One thing I did notice is the fact that one of the gang (the nasty one) had a pair of 'top-break' revolvers which another of the gang referred to as 'Bisley's', when I think they were either "Smith & Wesson's" or "Russian" top-break revover's. I dont think Bisley's were top-break.

I've only now got 'round to seeing this, pretty good for a recently made western but make a point of checking out the original though.....surprisingly good for an oldie, considering it was in Black & White aswell.
